Summer months coffee is just hot enough, winter months I have to pre-warm cups and often put them in the microwave after the coffee is made - sacrilege!, because it's only warm. I now only use filtered water in it now, so have changed back to softer water setting and it requires cleaning a lot less regularly. Hopefully won't need to though! It is fairly important to carry out a clean out, as there is a lot of coffee grinds that build up inside. Would have to made over 1000 cups of coffee now. My partner and I have owned this machine now for around 3 years. Its a simple way to increase the available power in our RV, allowing us to keep warm without burning through our propane, and without juggling electrical loads.
